More than half the people who had a Plateau Sigma experience have said that it was very unpleasant and never repeat it. In the Plateau Sigma interesting things happen to reality. Some have reported vivid, realistic full contact with alien entities, spirits, gods and goddesses. Unlike the fourth plateau, these contacts often take place with eyes open, immersed in everyday reality. You're probably stepping on the head first in psychosis, and if you have a very good trip sitter, you might end up coming back to reality in a secure room. Or, if you're really unlucky, you might panic, have a hypertensive crisis, and end up in the hospital. The chronic use of high doses of PCP has been implicated in both the deterioration of some brain areas and brain hemorrhages. While PCP is a little lonely among dissociative, because of its additional and peculiar pharmacology, one should always be cautious when blazing trails in uncharted territory.
